Triptych Photography - June 2013

Triptych Photography - June 2013             EASY

This tutorial looks at triptych photography which is a simple but nice way of displaying and taking your photos.
To do this all you need is 3 different coloured flowers and coloured cards to match and I also used a still life table but this is optional.
All you need to do is stand up a curved piece of coloured card probably about A2/3 sized and place the matching flower in a glass in front of it. And take the photo using a tripod and a diffused flash. For some colours you may need to colour your flash using tissue paper or a coloured diffuser which is what i had to do for the yellow flowers however this is a simple problem to solve.
Once you have taken the photo on the setting you choose, import your photos into Photoshop and crop them to 1:1 ratio so you have 3 square photos and paste them on to a blank canvas on Photoshop. Make them the same size and line them up then finally crop the whole picture so you get nice and thin picture.
