Adding Texture On Photos - September 2013 EASY
Part 2 from Augusts Layered Photos
In one of my previous tutorials in August 2013 I showed you how to layer up different photos and in some cases the same photo but this tutorial shows you how to turn black and white photos into bright colorful photos with artificial textures.
All you need to create these is a photo editing program for example Photoshop.
Import your black and white photo (if you want to do this to a colour photo you will need to turn it in to a black and white photo). Then in a second layer import you texture photo. This works best with photos of water, animal print, flowers, rocks etc. Make sure the texture layer is colour. Then make sure your second layer is on top of the original photo. Finally turn the opacity of the texture photo to about half (50 or 50% depending on your program). That is an easy way to make interesting colour photos out of black and white shots. For ideas check out my Texture - Eyes post on my blog page.
